Sultan of Selangor and wife arrive in London for Coronation
1953 - The Sultan of Selangor arrives in London, ready for the Coronation: One of the first arrivals in London for the Coronation was Sir Hisamoddin Alah Shah, Sultan of Selangor, with one of his two wives, Che som Binti Haji Mahmud. The Sultan rules a state of 3, 160 square miles, less than half the size of Wales, with a population of just under a million. Its capital is Kuala Lumpur.
