Survivor from British Railways steamer, Princess Victoria
Feb. 02, 1953 - 133 Die In British Railways Steamer: It was feared early today that 133 of the 177 passengers of the British Railways steamer, Princess Victoria, which sank in the Irish Sea yesterday, had lost their lives. Only 44 survivors have been picked up. The 2, 694-ton ship turned over and dived to her doom on the 36-mile ferry run between Stranreer, Wigtownshire, Scotland, and Larne, Northern Ireland.
