Susan Hampshire and Pierre Granier-Deferre to marry
Mar. 03, 1967 - SUSAN HAMPSHIRE TO WED. Actress Susan Hampshire yesterday announced that she is to marry 38 year old French film director Pierre Granier-Deferre. They met in France last year, working on the film Paris in August'. Instead of an engagement ring, Pierre bought her an expensive dress one of those £100-plus Dior culotte models from the new collections. The wedding will be on April 15. Miss Hampshire, who is appearing in B.B.C. T.V.'s Forsyte Saga series, is having her two small Fulham cottages converted into a home of two.
