Susan Strasberg, American actress, to play Anne Frank
Aug. 08, 1956 - 18 year old Broadway actress arrives in London with a mission: Actress Susan Strasberg, aged 18 flew to London from New York yesterday especially to meet next week an Old Dutchman whose daughter died in Belsen concentration camp, Germany, during the war. In New York Susan has the part of the daughter, Anne Frank, in a play The Diary of Anne Frank which tells of the young girl's suffering and bravery before she died during the Nazi occupation of Holland.
