Suzanne Pascal presents her glass sculpture to embassy

1973 - Glass sculpture presented to the American Embassy in London; Mr. Earl D. Sohm, the American Minister in London, today accepted the gift of an unusual piece of glass sculpture for the embassy at a private ceremony in Grosvenor Square. The gift to the Embassy is that of Mr. Richard E. Deems, President of Hearst Magazines, and was handed to Mr. Sohm by the noted American sculptor, Suzanne Pascal, who after years of research has developed a technique for working on chunk glass with a hammer and chisel.
