Jun. 06, 1955 - A victory for the boy who fought back won event at Paralysis swimming gala: The winner at the boy's plunging event at the swimming gala held yesterday at Seymour Hall Baths, Marylebone, yesterday was eight year old Norman Stevens. Norman who comes from Sheffield was one fo 200 polio members of the Infantile Paralysis Fellowship taking part in the first National Swimming Gala.
