Aug. 08, 1960 - American girl who Attempts under water channel Swim makes it up with her husband Jane Baldasare, the 24-year-old American girl who attempts an under-water Channel swim today, broke shock news to her husband Fred yesterday. She admitted that she had asked a New York lawyer to start divorce proceedings. Fred Baldasare, 36-year-old film director, was shocked, but Jane told him that she had changed her mind and did not want a divorce after all. It appears that some months age while her husband was filming in Oklahoma they had a quarrel over the phone, and without telling her husband she started divorce proceedings.
