Jun. 06, 1960 - Under-water swimmer arrives for unusual channel attempt Twenty-five year old Mrs. Jane Baldasare who already holds two underwater endurance records arrived at London Airport this morning. She intends to swim the English Channel underwater. The Channel Swimming Association officials say that they will not recognize the attempt.
