Nov. 11, 1960 - New Holborn Indoor Swimming Pool: The new Holborn indoor swimming pool, which has been built on the Oasis site in High Holborn, adjoining the popular open air pool, opens on Friday. The indoor pool has many new features including a 90ft. long glass sliding partition which in summer gives access to the open air pool and sun bathing terraces.
