Nov. 11, 1962 - The Courage Corrs comes home paraplegic games competitors return: Laughing happily as she arrives home is one of the Courage Corps of British athletes 27 year old Lady Susan Masham. Lady Masham was among 60 partially paralyzed men and women who flew home yesterday from Perth, Australia where they represented Britain in the first Commonwealth Paraplegic Games. Nearly all the events were played from wheelchairs. The British team won an impressive 33 golds 52 silver and 26 bronze. Lady Masham of Swinton, Yorkshire who broke her back horse riding at a point to point meeting three years ago won four silver medals for table tennis and swimming
