Aug. 22, 1963 - Back from the Dead. 49 year old Anton Meyer who was surfbathing off Tamarama Beach in Australia, was found floating face down more than 200 yard from the shore, lifeless, by Tamarama Lifesavers G. Carter and B. Gillroy who rushed him to the shore where he was given mouth to mouth resuscitation by R. Sheldon who brought back a spark of life before Meyer was rushed to hospital.
