Swimming - Diving

Jan. 01, 1968 - LINDA LUDGROVE TRIES ON WEDDING DRESS: Empire Games gold medalist, Linda Ludgrove, was today preparing to take the plunge again. But this time it had nothing to do with breaking any swimming records. For 20-year old Linda, who comes from Sydenham, London, was getting ready for her wedding. At young's Dress Hire, Wardour St, Linda and her three bridesmaids were trying on their dresses for the Big Day on Saturday February 3rd. Linda will marry former American swimming champion, 22-year-old John Collins from New York at St. Thomas More Church, Dulwich. The dress Linda has chosen has a lace bodies and a straight organza skirt dotted with Venetian lace appliques.
