Feb. 02, 1978 - A new help to swim from Sweden - used in Switzerland exclusively in the little village of Appenzell: In Appenzell, a little village of eastern Switzerland, this help to swim, invented in Sweden, is used the first time in Switzerland in swim-lessons. It got to this village by chance: One of the chefs of the local swimming association learnt to know in western Switzerland a Swede who showed him this invention. By this the help to swim came to Appenzell from Sweden
