Feb. 02, 1978 - 14-year0old Kathy Miller from Arizona receives the Valour in Sport Award at the Guildhall: The Annual Valour in sport Award (known as the V.C. of sport) was presented to 14 year-old Kathy Miller from Arizona, U.S.A. She is a swimmer and athlete who was in a coma for ten weeks after being struck by a car and yet was so determined to return to sport that, on recovery, she trained to compete in a 10, 000 metres run.
