Aug. 08, 1962 - A Chalet For Charles And A Remarkable Neighbour For Charlie Chaplin A chalet is being built for Charles Lindberg, the first man to fly the Atlantic solo in 1927. It is in the village of Corsier-sur-Vevey on Lake Geneva, and a matter of a few hundred yards from the home of Charlie Chaplin. The chalet will be ready in October.
