Syrian President visits West Germany
Sep 20, 1978; Bonn, Germany; The president of the Syrian Arab Republic and Mrs.Assad paid an official visit to the West Germany from September 11-15 1978. The first three days of his visit President Hafiz El Assad conferred in Bonn with Federal President Walter Scheel, Federal Foreign Minister hans Dietrich Genscher as well as with the chairmen of the ppolitical parties represented in the Bundestag.
