Talking robot with children, Holloway Road, London

Jul. 07, 1950 - Children See Talking Robot in Holloway. The First demonstration of a talking robot was given to children outside the Marlborough Theatre in Holloway road, this morning. The robot has eyes and lips which move and by the use of a hidden microphone can give children lessons on road safety. Its inventor Mr. Leonard Lake hopes the road safety authorities will adopt it.
