May 13, 1969 - Sotheby's To Hold Veteran Car Sale: A unique Rolls-Royce roadster specially designed for General Sikorski - the only pure two-seater Rolls ever made - is among 82 Veteran, Edwardian and Vintage and Post-ntage Through bred cars to be autcioned by Sotheby's on thursday, 15th. May at Earls Court, London. there is also a Buick limousine used by King Edward VIII during the Abdication crisis. It will be the largest sale of vistage cars ever held in England and contains a number of outstanding and historic cars.
