Teacher Dies in Classroom Siege, Dundee

Feb. 29 Teacher Dies in Classroom Siege. : A 26 year old teacher died of gunshot wounds after an armed man terrorized a school for two hours yesterday. The man had held the teacher and 11 school girls at gunpoint before being cornered by police dogs in the needle work classroom at St. John's Roman Catholic school, Dundee. Shortly after a nab had been taken to Dundee's police had quarters, the teacher, Mrs. Nanette Hanson, died in hospital. The gunman fired eight shots during the classroom siege.
