Teachers demonstrate outside NUT headquarters
Jun. 03, 1961 - 3-6-61 Demonstration by Teachers over pay in London. While leaders of the National Union of Teachers Executive were talking without reaching an agreement on the latest pay proposals 150 teachers angrily demonstrated outside the NUT Headquarters. They carried banners and shouted slogans urging the executive not to accept the pay proposals worked out earlier by the Burnham Committee.
