Feb. 29 Davis Cup South Africa versus Germany: The present Davis Cup Elimination bouts are taking place on the unique playing-grounds of the Berlin Tennis Club Grounds Rot-Weies'. The result of the bouts will decide whether or not South Africa or Germany will take place in the final bouts.The Opening bout marked a pretty good success for German player Gottfried von Cramm who beat Russell Seymour (South Africa) 6:1; 6:2; 7 and 1:0.
