Dec. 12, 1967 - Open Tennis for Britain. Decision at Annual General meeting of L. T. A.: There will be open tennis for Britain from April 22. The Annual General meeting of the Lawn Tennis Association agreed by an overwhelming majority to abolish amateur - professional distinction.
