Nov. 19, 1976 - November 19th, 1976 Benson and Hedges Tennis Championships Ilie Nastase walks off court over a linesman's call During the Benson and Hedges tennis championships at Wembley today Ilie Nastase was once again in trouble and walked off the court during his match against Wojtek Fibak of Poland. The trouble arose when Nastase disagreed with one of the line judges call. After an argument he walked off the court, sat in a lineman's chair, and removed his shoes. The umpire upheld the line-judges decision and eventually Nastase went back on the court and resumed play.
