Nov. 11, 1976 - Benson And Hedges Tennis Championships - Ilie Nastase Walks Off Court Over A Linesman's Call: During the Benson ans Hedges tennis championships at Wembley today Ilie Nastase was once again in trouble and walked off the court during his match against Wojtek Fibak of Poland. The trouble arose when Nestase disagreed with one of the line judges call. After an argument he walked off the court, sat in a linesman's chair, and removed his shoes. The umpire upheld the line-judges decision, and eventually Nastase went back on to the court and resumed play. Photo shows Ilie Nastase signals to the umpire as he replaces his shoes that he will resume play
