Jun. 06, 1973 - The world's top professional Tennis players decide to Boycott the Wimbledon championships: Following a meeting of the Association of Tennis Professionals at a London hotel today, the world's top professional players announced that they would boycott the championships, due to start on Monday. the decision was taken after the banning of Yugoslav player, Nikki Pilic.
