Jan. 01, 1956 - Queen Attends Tercentenary Dance of the Grenadier Guards. Guests lower Champagne - for the Guard of Honour. Keystone Photo Shows: The scene as a bottle of champagne hangs over the waning - at 23. Knightsbridge last evening. The bottle was lowered by guests - probably as a suggestion that the Guard should like to take part in the celebrations.. H.M. The Queen was the guest of honour - at the dance held there which marked the tercentenary of the Grenadier Guards
