Teresa Berganza to sing at Covent Garden

May 05, 1963 - TERESA BERGANZA is rehearsing for her appearance next week in the Gala Performance at the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden where she will be singing Cherubino, in Mozart's Le Nozze Di Figaro'. The 28-year-old Spanish Mezzo Soprano will perform before the Queen. During rehearsals she has an admiring audience of her 2-year-old son FRANCESCO and 3 year-old daughter TERESA while her husband, FELIX LAVILLA, accompanies her at the piano. They have just completed a month's appearance at La Scala; Milan, and will be leaving shortly for the Holland festival before going to America
