Thornton Wilder receives Peace award in Germany

Oct. 10, 1957 - Peace award of the German book-trade for Thornton Wilder: On the Occasion of the International Book Exhibition the American Writer Thornton Wilder received during a festive hour the Peace award of the German Book trade. He was presented with the award by the President of the Exchange Association of the German Book-trader and Publisher, Reinhard Jaspert, on Oct 6, 1957. The German President Prof. Theodor Heuss and Several Prizewinners of the Peace award of former years, and Prof. Albert Schweitzer were present.
