Toilet in the shape of a fly sculpture, Whitechapel, London

Jun. 06, 1976 - A Unique Exhibition Of Sculpted Animals: An exhibition of demonstrated beasts and other creatures open tomorrow June 2nd, at Whitechapel Art Gallery. They are freakish looking sculptures, by a French husband and wife, Francois-Xavier and Claude Lalanne from Paris. Their studio and home is in a village near Fontainebleau, Paris. They produce the most weird and unusual works as seen here, under the combined name of Les Lalannes. Photo Shows what looks like a giant fly but is really a lavatory and toilet roll combined
