Mar. 03, 1974 - Wedgwood Benn Travels to Bristol After Disclosing huge Losses on the Concorde. Mr. Anthony Wedgwood Benn, Secretary of State for Industry, disclosed yesterday that Concorde has cost the British taxpayers 00 millions so far, and could cost them 15 million more by 1978 if production continues at the maximum planned rate. Today Mr. Benn travelled to Bristol where he has hundreds of Concorde workers in his Bristol South East constituency. He met union leaders and answered questions for the press.
