Mar. 03, 1960 - Musgrave Wins The Big Walk. The 1, 000-mile marathon walk from John O'Groats to Land's End, was won by the Yorkshire glass packer, Jimmy Musgrave. John Grundy, a railway worker, also of Yorkshire, was second and Alf Rozentals, a miner of Nottingham, was third.
