Mar. 13, 1960 - Nusgrave wins the big walk: The 1, 000 mile marathon walk from John O Groate to Ldle End, was won bu the Yorkshire glass packer, Jimmy Musgrave. John Grundy, a railway worker, also of Yorkshire, was second, and Alf Rosentals, a miner, of Nottingham was third.
