Oct. 10, 1961 - International Peace Marathon In Kosice Athlete from Ethiopia Wins. The 31st Annual International Peace Marathon took Place last week end in the East Slovak town of Kosice, Czechoslovakia. Teh event was won by Bikia abebe of Ethiopia with second Dr. Pavel Kantorek (CSSR) and in third place the Japanese long distance runner Nakao.
