Mar. 03, 1966 - International Hair Play Trophies Awarded, At UNESCO: International Fair Play Trophies for 1965. were awarded yesterday at UNESCO House, in Paris Among this year's winners was Miss Willye White. an American Long jumper, Miss White and Mar Rad of Great Britannia, the Olympia Champion in this event were competing in the International track championship Organized on 19 February last year in New York by the Amateur Athletic Union.Marks left on the starting board by previous competitors hindered Mary Rand and she failed to qualify. It was then Miss White asked the judges to give her rival another chance. Mary Rand qualified and won. Miss White, who is 27, is a nurse in a C hicago hospital.
