Aug. 08, 1963 - London: American Hurdler Jim Allen looks as though he could kick himself: Valuable tenths of a second were wasted when he sent this hurdle flying the last hurdle of the race, in the men's 440 yards event at the white city stadium here today during the United States vs Great Britain track and field meet. The event was won by Allen's team mate - Rex Caley in 51.4 seconds, with unlucky Allen finishing in 51.7 second
