Jul. 07, 1971 - The Steeplechase: London, Splash..goes Gerald Stevens of reading Athletic Club into the water as he leads the field in the 2nd heat of the 3, 000 meters Steeplechase at the Crystal Palace National Sports Centre in south London tonight. Stevens (No.25) eventually finished fourth behind Stephen Hollins (No. 10) of Wakefield Harriers and Athletic Club) was won the neat. Number five in this picture is David Camp of Morpeth Harriers and Athletic Club was placed third. The event came during the A.A.A. Championships. The winner's time was 8 minutes 56.2 seconds
