The young athlete run two world records before an enthusiastic audience3; the 100 meter hurdle distance in 12, 9 seconds, the 200 meter hurdle distance in 22, 4 seconds. Chi Cheng, who had been elected best athlete of the world in 1969, is studying in California to become a teacher.
