Aug. 31, 1971 - 70-year-old man Trains for the Olympic Torch-run: For the Olympic Games 1972..Hans-Werner von der Planits is training for a long time already. The 70 years old doesn't want to become active in the Olympics, but he is the responsible organiser of the Olympic Torch-run 1972. Therefor time of his lunch-break for running. He runs up the Olympic Hill, down again and then around it, always about five or six Kilometers. Hans-Werner von der Planitz, who was during the Olympics 1936 in Berlin as trainer of the marathon-runners, said, that he ran a strech of about 3200 Miles from the Olympia in Greece to Munich during the three years of organisations in little works'. Beside this, von der Planitz also trains in hammer-throwing
