Track And Field - Decathlon - Javelin

Jun. 28, 1976 - The young French Chantal Rega goes from success to success. During the French tournaments this weekend at the North Stadium in Lille, she beat her own record for France for the 100m Women's in 11.15 seconds (the former record was 11.27 seconds). We wish her as many victories as the American Wilma Rudolph, nicknamed the Black Gazelle, winning gold medals for the 100m and the 200m at the Olympic Games in Rome.
