Jan. 01, 1953 - Berlin's Traditional Green Week opened by Minister Niklas: In the Morning hours of January 30th, 1953, the traditional Green Week'- Germany's most important Agricultural and Horticultural Fair was opened by minister Niklas, in Berlin. Picture Shows: Bio-gas - a newly invented industrial and chemical product explained to all fair visitors. The inventor's name is Professor Reinhold, a resident of Darmstadt, Germany. The Professor's idea that it should be possible to gain bin-gas from vegetable residues and dung, proved to be true. In Berlin, spectators for the first time visited his plant which produces enough good bio-gas to heat any type of stove
