May 31, 1966 - Pictured here is a member of the music corps of the 2nd US Panzer Cavalry Regiment. The regiment is celebrating its 130th birthday. It is the oldest cavalry regiment in the US army. It is originally from New York, but after WW2 it was stationed in Nuremberg. Here the officers wear traditional uniforms dating back to the American Revolutionary War
