Dec. 12 Shakespeare Commemoration service at Southwark Cathedral. A Commemoration service was held this afternoon at Southwark Cathedral, London, to mark the opening of the special Shakespeare Festival fortnight. A series of one night only Shakespeare plays are to be presented during the second weeks presentation of Much Ado about Nothing by the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. Guest of Honour at this afternoon's service was the poet T.S. Eliot.
