Two-man submarine with torpedo, Munich, Germany
Feb. 02, 1974 - A Miniature Submarine Stranded? This small submarine docking now in the open air right next to the Deutsches Museum in Munich, was definitely not designed as a toy for children. The two man boat with a torpedo equipped, was developed shortly before World War II ended. It was planned to be produced in large quantities in order to influence the war in favour of the Germans. But actually only a few of this type were built. Above water the submarine made 7.7 knots and 6 knots when diving under water, its range was 270 sea miles
