UD-2 Dyna Craft demonstration on River Thames, London
Jan. 01, 1965 - Air Cushion Craft Demonstrated on the River Thames. The new air cushion vehicle known as the UD-2 Dyna Craft was demonstrated on the Thames this morning. The vehicle in the hovercraft range can travel at a speed of 40 knots, is 15 ft. long and can be propelled by any engine (outboard) of between 18 hp single cylinder two stroke engine for Lift. It is priced at £795 ex-works, fully equipped, less propulsion engine. Photo shows three of the UD-2 Dyna Craft travelling at speed on the Thames during the demonstration this morning
