Jan. 01, 1963 - LLOYD GEORGE STATUE NEARING COMPLETION: MR ULI NIMTSCH, ARA is making good progress with the 7 ft statue of LLOYD GEORGE cast in bronze which is to stand in the lobby of the House of Commons. The 65-year-old sculptor was chosen to produce the work after SIR JACOB EPSTEIN the original choice - died half way through his version of the famous parliamentarian whose birth centenary falls on 17th January.
