Feb. 02, 1974 - Deputy-chairman of the pay board says Miners pay may be £5 below average of comparable workers: Miners pay may be as much as £5 below the average of comparable workers, not £3 as previously estimated by pit union leaders. The suggestion was made by Mr. Derek Robinson, a deputy chairman of the Pay Board, as the board's relativities inquiry continued yesterday.
