Dec. 12, 1973 - Train Drivers Ban Overtime: The train drivers union, Aslep last night decided to start a campaign of industrial action beginning on December 12th, which will halt all Sunday services and seriously disrupt main line and London commuter services. As well as a complete ban on Sunday working, the rail drivers will ban oll overtime and rest day working and will end cooperation with railway management. Their action is in protest at inadequate British Rail proposals for restructuring pay throughout the industry.
