Sep. 09, 1975 - LEN MURRAY MEETS STEEL UNION LEADER IN AN ATTEMPT TO AVERT A NATIONAL STEEL STRIKE. In an attempt to avert a national steel strike strong pressure from the trade union movement was being put on the blast-furnacemen today when MR LEN MURRAY, general secretary of the Trades Union Congress, met steel union leader, MR.
