Sep. 16, 1954 - Women's Royal Air Force Central Band Prepares For 1, 400 Miles Tour.: Members of the Women's Royal Air Force Central Band were to be seen at Uxbridge this morning rehearsing for their 1400 miles tour of the country which starts on Sept. 21st. They are to visit Leicester; Derby; Northampton; Nottingham; Doncaster; Leeds; Huddersfield; Harrogate; Newcatle; Sunderland; Middlesborough and Hull.
