Sep. 09, 1950 - Wounded flown from far east The first trip of an air ambulance which is bribing home casualties from the far east was completed last night. A Hastings plane landed at lyneham R.A.F. Station, Wiltshire, carrying 32 wounded and sick, 10 of them stretcher cases. Mont of them, from Malaya, boarded the plane at Singapore, The service will operates twice a month. none was from Korea but the service will deal with casualties from there if necessary.
